Submit an event
Anyone can submit using the Submit Event form. No account needed.
What we list
Events run by, for, or with the disability community. That includes:
- Chapter meetings (NFB, ACB, NAD, and other consumer organizations)
- Adaptive and accessible sports programs
- Advocacy actions and campaigns
- Social events and meetups
- Accessible theater, art, and cultural events
- Support groups and peer programs
- Disability-led workshops and training
What we don't list: national webinars with no local connection, purely commercial promotions, or events with no meaningful tie to the disability community.
Filling out the form
Virtual events
For virtual events, the city field means the city where the organizing group is based, not a meeting room location. A Zoom meeting hosted by the Austin NFB chapter goes under Austin.
Timezone
Type a region name like "Eastern", "Chicago", or "Pacific" and select from the list. If you're not sure, use the timezone for the city where the event is happening.
Recurring events
Submit the next upcoming occurrence. Our editors will handle the series. You don't need to do anything else.
Note: the accessibility notes field is for attendee-facing information and appears publicly on the event detail page. Don't use it for notes to our editors.
Organization name
If the event is run by an organization, enter their name. It's used to attribute the event and link it to their page in our directory. It's optional. If you're not sure, leave it blank.
After you submit
Our editors review submissions within a few days. You won't receive a confirmation email. If your event appears on the city page, it was approved.
If it hasn't appeared after a week and you think it should be listed, feel free to resubmit or email hello@accessevents.org.
Submissions that don't meet our editorial guidelines may be declined without notification.
