The Center for Independent Living in Berkeley, the birthplace of the Independent Living Movement, hosts a community open house to welcome new members, introduce services, and connect with the broader Bay Area disability community. The CIL offers peer counseling, benefits assistance, assistive technology support, and advocacy training. The Berkeley CIL office is fully accessible.
