Autism Acceptance Day at the Maryland Zoo

The Maryland Zoo celebrates Autism Acceptance Month in partnership with Itineris with a full day of activities including a book signing with the artist of 'Zoo ABC (Animals Are Neurodiverse, Too!)', story time with neurodiverse authors, community resource and vendor booths, a designated quiet room in the Farmyard, free sensory bag rentals with noise-reducing headphones, animal ambassador encounters, keeper chats, and a scavenger hunt.
