Access Living, Chicago's premier Independent Living Center, hosts a community organizing workshop for disabled Chicagoans interested in advocacy and activism. Attendees learn grassroots organizing skills, disability rights history, and how to engage with local government on accessible housing, transportation, and healthcare. Free to attend. The Access Living building at 115 W Chicago Ave is fully accessible.
