 edge of development in infants without disabilities and her extensive expe
 rience with children who are blind or have low vision and have additional 
 disabilities. Her 2001 book\, Early Learning Step by Step: Children with V
 ision Impairment and Multiple Disabilities\, considers the difference betw
 een how children with and without these disabilities learn and offers effe
 ctive teaching techniques for individualization. She examines movement\, a
  prerequisite for learning\, and then shares adaptations for play and dail
 y living activities. The book study group will meet six times during the 2
 026–2027 school year on Thursdays from 3:00–4:00 p.m. Central time. No
