About Access Events
What is Access Events?
The disability community organizes a lot — chapter meetings, accessible theater, athletic programs, advocacy campaigns, meetups. The announcements go out on listservs, email blasts, social media, and organization websites. Access Events collects them.
Submitting events
Know about an event that isn't listed? Submit it. A local liaison will review it and publish it if it's a good fit for their city's page. You don't have to be affiliated with the organizer — if it's a disability community event, it's fair game.
Calendar subscriptions
Every city page has an iCal feed. Subscribe in your calendar app and you'll get event updates automatically — no need to check the site.
Becoming a liaison
City liaisons are community volunteers who keep their city's events current — finding them, checking details, deciding what gets published. If that sounds like something you'd do, email us.

Our commitment to accessibility
This site is built to work for everyone, including screen reader users, keyboard-only users, and people using assistive technology. We use semantic HTML, proper ARIA markup, and keyboard navigation throughout, and test against WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Found an accessibility issue? We want to know. Email accessibility@accessevents.org.
